Paul Walker jokes cut from Justin Bieber's Comedy Central Roast

Jokes about late actor Paul Walker will not be shown on Justin Bieber's upcoming Comedy Central Roast.

The singer is the subject of the network's latest Roast - a programme which mocks celebrity figures - and his show was recorded recently.

However, some heads turned when jokes were made about Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013.

Referring to Bieber's questionable past driving, comedian Jeff Ross said during the filming:

"'Move bitch, get out of the way!' is what Paul Walker should've told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?"

Fellow roaster Ludacris - who was friends with Walker - was reportedly left "incensed" by the jokes about the actor.

Comedy Central have now confirmed that no quips about Walker will feature in the final edit.

They said: "Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full reign to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show.

"Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast."

Bieber's Roast will air in the US on March 30.
