Justin Bieber: 'I never thought I could make a living from my music'

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber, who was discovered on YouTube years ago, has revealed that while he always wanted to be a famous singer he certainly didn't expect it to become a reality.

Speaking to Interview magazine recently, the hitmaker admitted that he never thought he could genuinely make a living from music:

"Honestly, it was never something that I was going to do for a living. At 13 you're not even thinking about that, you know?"

He continued: "I was just playing for fun and uploading videos on YouTube because I wanted to show my family. That's when [my manager] Scooter [Braun] found me."

As previously reported, the 'As Long As You Love Me' sensation also opened up about next album and confessed that he's not rushing the process: "I actually don't know (when it will be done). I'm really not worried about when it's finished, I just want it to be perfect, so we're taking our time with it."
