Justin Bieber: 'People seem to be waiting for me to fail'

Canadian sensation Justin Bieber attended this week's iHeartMedia Music Summit and told the audience that releasing new music is daunting because people are always waiting to see him fail.

USA Today quotes Bieber as saying that it has been "a rough couple of years": "I think people want to see me fail. I've been working my hardest to not let that happen. I'm still that same kid that you guys met a long time ago. I want you guys to take this journey with me."

The superstar is set to unveil his highly anticipated new single, entitled 'What Do You Mean', on August 28 and told Ryan Seacrest what the song is about: “Well, girls are often just flip-floppy. They say something and they mean something else. So… what do you mean? I don’t really know, that’s why I’m asking.” He added: “It’s fun, it’s summery… Definitely the first single is amazing. I worked really hard on it with a guy named Poo Bear.”
