Justin Bieber: 'I need to make sure I'm the best version of myself'

Singer Justin Bieber has revealed that he's very wary of trusting people in showbusiness nowadays because he's had such a rocky experience in the past.

During a new interview with 'Elvis Duran and the Morning Show', which will be broadcast tomorrow (August 28), the superstar explained that he's now very cautious about the people he surrounds himself with because there are so many individuals in the industry who are waiting for him to slip up:

"I just want to be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me, and making sure I'm the best version of myself because there are so many people in this industry who just want to keep seeing me fall. It has to be on you."

Bieber, meanwhile, is set to release a brand new single called 'What Do You Mean' on August 28 and he told Ryan Seacrest what the track is about: “Well, girls are often just flip-floppy. They say something and they mean something else. So… what do you mean? I don’t really know, that’s why I’m asking.” He added: “It’s fun, it’s summery… Definitely the first single is amazing. I worked really hard on it with a guy named Poo Bear.”
