Justin Bieber credits pastor with helping him to get back on track

Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber has opened up about overcoming the tough period he went through recently and credited a pastor with helping him to get his life back on track.

The 'What Do You Mean' singer told Access Hollywood that he turned to New York pastor Carl Lentz for help and hasn't looked back since:

"Something clicked one morning and I was like, 'Yo, this is not me'... so I reached out to some people I really know care about me and they brought me in and I stayed with their family for a couple months and literally did regular stuff; hung out with their family, ate dinner with them."

"He (Lentz) put his arms around me, and the way he lives his life is really what he talks about... When I go to his home, I feel really loved."

Bieber went onto add that Lentz offered him lots of mantras, but there was one in particular that really stuck: "You have to give it all you've got."
