Justin Bieber confirms 2016 world tour to promote album

Justin Bieber will be embarking on a world tour next year in support of his upcoming album ‘Purpose’.

During a taped interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the ‘Sorry’ star confirmed that he will be performing live around the globe in 2016.

Justin stated: “I’m actually going on tour!”

However, he was unable to recall specific details about the arrangement when pressed for information on the opening date: “This was the only thing I had to remember, and I don’t remember it. You can go to my website. What am I doing? I’m here to promote an album and a tour.”

Producers on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ were able to provide more information as prepared graphics to be shown alongside the interview with Bieber reveal that the tour will begin on March 9.

Tickets are set to go on sale on November 16.

No further specific dates or locations have been announced.

Justin Bieber’s interview with Ellen DeGeneres airs later today (November 11). Every member of the studio audience who watched the taping of the interview were gifted a ticket to see Justin perform at the Staples Center.
