Justin Bieber has supported a local foodbank by holding an intimate charity gig.

The singer performed at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on Monday (December 7) in honour of Stratford House of Blessing.

The organisation gives food and clothing to those in need in Bieber's hometown.

He said during the gig: "It's really good to be home.

"You guys are special, very special...I think this is the best crowd I've ever been a part of. I'm having a great time up here tonight."

Bieber's show came in support of his recently released new album 'Purpose'.

The Canadian's track 'Love Yourself' meanwhile is currently No.1 in the UK.

However, Bieber is facing stiff competition from Sigala's 'Sweet Lovin'' this week.
