Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' reaches big US sales milestone

Justin Bieber now has five one-million selling albums in the US.

The singer achieved the feat after his latest effort 'Purpose' reached the milestone.

The record sold 100,000 in the last week to break the million barrier.

Bieber's 2009 effort 'My World', 2010's 'My World 2.0' and 2011's 'Under The Mistletoe' have all sold over one million units in the US.

His 2012 album 'Believe' is also a member of the million-selling club.

His latest effort 'Purpose' is only the third record released in 2015 to sell one million copies in the States.

The others are Adele's '25' and Drake's 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late'.
