Justin Bieber's recent single goes 2x platinum in the UK

Justin Bieber is celebrating after one of his recent singles went 2x platinum in the UK.

The British Phonographic Industry revealed today (February 12) that the Canadian's 2015 track 'Sorry' has now reached the milestone.

This means that the song has sold 1.2 million units in the country so far.

The tune features on Bieber's 2015 album 'Purpose', which topped charts across the world.

As previously reported, the 21-year-old said in a new interview with GQ that he has been taking ADHD medication because he struggles to concentrate.

Doctors say his lack of focus is due to not getting enough restful sleep.

However, he has stopped taking the medication.
