Hailey Baldwin says she has found it difficult to date Justin Bieber due to the constraints of fame.

The model has regularly been seen in Instagram snaps with the Canadian.

They ushered in 2016 by kissing, but Baldwin said it can be difficult to blossom love in the spotlight.

She told the May issue of Marie Claire: "I don't want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls...it's hard to date somebody in this industry.

"You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else."

Baldwin meanwhile previously said the duo were "not an exclusive couple".

Speaking in a recent interview with GQ, Bieber said the model is "someone I really love. We spend a lot of time together".
