A street in Texas has been named after Justin Bieber when a 'belieber' was was made 'Mayor for the Day' in the small town of Forney, Texas.

Caroline Gonzalez, 11, was put in temporary charge of her hometown in an attempt to encourage youngsters to take an interest in politics.

A huge fan of Justin Bieber, Gonzalez paid tribute to the 'Baby' hitmaker by renaming an old street to 'Justin Bieber Way.

In an interview with E! New, Gonzalez said she did it because, "I really like Justin Bieber. I like his music and I like him. And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?"

Yesterday (August 16) it was revealed that the pop sensation is one of the highest earning teenagers in Hollywood.
