Bieber's basketball movie will be "worth the wait", promises Mark Wahlberg

Justin Bieber's upcoming basketball movie will be "worth the wait".

The Canadian sensation has been tipped to star in the as of yet untitled motion picture alongside Mark Wahlberg, who explained to MTV News that the 'Baby' hitmaker is excited to start working on the project although they're still waiting for a script:

"We're waiting for the script. Waiting for the script. Every time I see Bieber or Scooter Braun, I have to explain to them that it's a bit of a process having the script written."

Wahlberg added, ''It certainly has to be something that's good enough to go and have green-lit and make right away. But I think it will be well worth the wait.''

18-year-old Bieber has already experienced having a movie on the big screen after the 2011 release of his concert film, 'Never Say Never'.
