Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has let slip that one of the lads from British boyband One Direction sent him a text message asking to be introduced to a sexy pop star.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the 18-year-old 'Boyfriend' hitmaker explained that while he can't reveal which of the five members it was, he can say that one of them begged to be put in contact with Bajan beauty Rihanna:

"The lads are really cool. We stay in touch. You can’t tell your bro’s secrets, but one of them did text me asking if I could introduce them to Rihanna."

“I can’t say which one. He is a great guy, so if Rihanna wants herself a younger man he could be in with a shot.”

Last week, The Sun reported that heartthrob Harry Styles had compiled a list of older women he finds attractive, which included mentions of Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet and supermodel Kate Moss. Teenage Styles famously dated 32-year-old television presenter Caroline Flack.
