Justin Bieber "praises The Voice and reality TV shows"

Justin Bieber has heaped praise on reality TV shows such as The Voice.

According to Capital FM, the teen star - who performed on the US version of The Voice this week - spoke out in praise of the show because of how it gives exposure to unheard singers.

He said that it gives people in "little towns" the chance to be heard on a massive stage. He told Extra:

"I mean I haven't got the chance to watch a lot of this season [The Voice] but you know the fact that people are able to do what they love and come out through that type of show, because some of these people it's like, they're from these little towns and wouldn't get the exposure – so it's really cool."

Bieber meanwhile is readying the release of a new song 'Turn To You', which he will unveil on the US Mother's Day. Speaking about the track, he tweeted today (May 10):

"#24HOURS until #TurnToYou on ITUNES for all the single moms out there. love u @studiomama."
