Justin Bieber says he misses his mum more as he gets older

Justin Bieber has revealed that his fondness for his mother becomes greater as he grows older.

The 18-year-old's mum Pattie Mallette was a big part of the singer's life when he was a child, but extensive touring and promotional schedules means they are often apart.

Speaking to ITV's Daybreak, Bieber said that he usually looks forward to seeing her after being away from each other. He said:

"Now being 18, before I was round her all the time, I'd look forward to her leaving. Now it's like, 'When's mum getting back?'."

The 'Boyfriend' singer meanwhile also praised his fans, adding that he won't get tired of their relentless idolism. Bieber said:

"I never get fed up of it, I feel so blessed. So many people wish to have the fanbase I have."
