Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber has lost his crown of Bing's most searched for celebrity of the year to reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

He may have won the title last year, beating the likes of Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan, but the 'As Long As You Love Me' sensation has been demoted to second place after 2012's figures were revealed.

Despite being the runner up, Bieber still managed to place ahead of other pop stars such as Katy Perry who charted at No.6, Selena Gomez at 7, Nicki Minaj at No.9, and 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' beauty Taylor Swift who came in tenth.

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna placed third and fourth respectively. The most searched for song list shows a different pattern of results as Psy's 'Gangnam Style' came out on top with Carly Rae Jepsen's summer anthem 'Call Me Maybe' behind at No.2, and Bieber's 'Boyfriend' secured the No.3 position.
