Justin Bieber confirms acoustic album

Justin Bieber has revealed plans to record an acoustic album.

The Canadian star told fans on Twitter that he has been writing lots of new material as he looks to build on the success of his 2012 album 'Believe'.

The 'Boyfriend' man confirmed the news on Thursday (December 6) as he enjoys some time off from touring. He said:

"Been writing alot...new stuff...and yeah. the acoustic album, new arrangements, is happening...#withdankanter."

The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes, who has been supporting Bieber alongside his bandmates on some of the Canadian's recent tour dates, appeared to reply to the original tweet to praise Bieber's new material. He said:

"Yeah man. People ain’t gonna know what to think when they hear the new tunes #nextlevel see ya later bro."

Bieber meanwhile missed out completely when the Grammy Award nominations were recently revealed - much to the dismay of his manager Scooter Braun.
