Justin Bieber writes "smash hit" for The Wanted

Justin Bieber's manager has revealed the 'Baby' star has written a "smash" hit for The Wanted.

Scooter Braun took to Twitter this afternoon to tell fans that Bieber has penned what he believes to be a future hit for the British five-piece.

Writing to his millions of followers, Braun posted: "So @JustinBieber wrote a smash for @TheWanted. Damn. #HitRecord.

He added: "Today is a great day for #NewMusic (sic)."

The Wanted - comprising Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Tom Parker - have maintained a close friendship with Bieber ever since supporting the singer on his 'Believe' tour.

The band have previously gushed about working with the Canadian superstar, with George revealing: "Justin's a lot of fun, I'm expecting a lot of pranks on us. He's a pranker. He can be a little s**t and I like that. He hasn't actually tried it on with me, I think he's a little bit scared.

Sykes added: "He punched Siva in the balls, he tweeted Siva a private joke and that was the private joke. He's going for Siva's balls." Watch a recent interview with Justin Bieber's mother here:
