Justin Bieber's pet monkey embarks on new life at zoo

A monkey owned by Justin Bieber has left quarantine in Germany.

As previously reported, primate Mally was seized by airport customs in Munich earlier this year after the singer didn't have the correct paperwork to take the monkey in the country.

It seemed the 'Believe' star wasn't too bothered about collecting his six-month-old pet, with Mally stuck for months in Europe.

However, it has been confirmed that the monkey has been moved from a holding unit in Munich to the Serengeti Park zoo in Hodenhagen.

Speaking about Mally, park manager Fabrizio Sepe said: "Mally is a clever little guy and we're confident that he will settle in quickly."

Bieber was criticised over the monkey incident, with some people suggesting that he shouldn't have been taking the pet on tour with him. Watch Justin Bieber perform live below:
