Justin Bieber: 'People will try to tear you down, but you have to be positive'

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has posted a series of messages on his official Twitter page today that address the recent video leaked by TMZ.

In the short clip published by the notorious gossip website, the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker can be seen urinating into a bucket, yelling "f**k Bill Clinton" and squirting bleach onto a framed photograph of the former U.S. President.

After it was uploaded, Bieber tweeted: "In life u will make mistakes and people will try and tear u down...but u gotta stay positive. Stay strong..and learn to be better..and...always live to serve others and The Lord. #growingeveryday."

He also sent a public message to Clinton, which apparently came after a phonecall in which he apologised for the slur: "@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy."

Earlier this week, Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette spoke about his recent behaviour and confessed that she doesn't "necessarily agree with everything that he does". Watch the clip from TMZ here:
