Justin Bieber breaks charity record as he grants 200th wish

Justin Bieber has broken a Make-A-Wish charity record.

The group, which helps children with life-threatening medical conditions achieve their goals, have confirmed that the Canadian has become the first recording artist to help grant 200 wishes.

The 200th wish took place backstage in Atlanta on Saturday (August 10) when he met 8-year-old Annalysha Brown-Rafanan, who suffers from a liver condition.

Bieber has been helping Make-A-Wish since 2009 and has bought numerous concert tickets and VIP passes for children.

Make-A-Wish America president David Williams commented: "Despite his relentless schedule, Justin has been genuinely committed to granting wishes since the very beginning and a strong supporter of Make-A-Wish. Justin understands the impact on a child of a wish-come-true and how it can create positive changes in their outlook, help them feel better, and even influence their health."
