Justin Bieber shows support for Philippines with graffiti

Justin Bieber has given his support to the typhoon ravaged Philippines with a special graffiti image.

The country has seen almost 4,000 of its citizens die after Typhoon Haiyan recently hit the group of islands.

Canadian singer Bieber took to Instagram to post an image of himself praying next to a piece of graffiti, which has the words:

"Pray 4 Philippines - JB".

It sees the 19-year-old using graffiti as a force for good following recent news that he had been charged by Brazilian police for spraying on an abandoned hotel's wall.

It is said that the 'Believe' man - who today (November 18) unleashed the R. Kelly duet 'PYD' - had originally been given licence to graffiti another wall, but it seems he left to escape a group of fans.

One Direction meanwhile have also shown their support for the Philippines by helping the DEC's fundraising appeal.

They will take to Twitter today to encourage their fans to donate to the relief fund before a group of celebrities answer calls in a charity telethon. Listen to Justin Bieber's new song 'PYD' below:
