Justin Bieber's manager wants singer to "take next year off"

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun has admitted that he wants his client to take a break from the public limelight next year.

The Canadian has endured a somewhat tough 2013 so far, with a slew of negative headlines jarring against his positive achievements.

They include lashing out at paparazzi and urinating in a mop bucket whilst on camera.

The singer recently quipped that he was going to "retire" from music soon, but Braun told Ryan Seacrest that he thinks some time out of the spotlight would do Bieber well.

When asked what the singer thinks his "next chapter" will be following the upcoming release of his 'Journals' album and Believe film, the manager said:

"He said, ‘Losing my childhood. Losing the time I have with my family and my friends is not worth it unless I give you the best I can be’. He wants to go for it because what he’s given up already, he can’t justify losing all that unless he gets to the top. And that’s why he works as hard as hard as he does.

"I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break and he can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone cause he’s been working since he was 12-years-old." Watch Justin Bieber's 'All That Matters' video below:
