Justin Bieber's grandmother: "He should put on a free show"

Justin Bieber's grandmother has suggested the star put on a free concert after disappointing fans with his late arrival in London earlier this week.

The Canadian superstar has been plagued by a number of disasters in the UK capital recently, with a scuffle with a cameraman earlier this week the latest negative story to hit the headlines.

Bieber was blasted for his "disgusting" behaviour after turning up late for the first of a string of shows at London's O2 Arena.

His grandmother Kathy, 56 told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper that the 19-year-old star should make amends.

She explained: ''I don't think for one moment this is all about him being a bad boy. He's only just turned 19 and he's still learning to cope with the pressures of fame.

''But it's worrying. You read all sorts of things about him partying and he needs to understand some of those so-called friends probably don't have his best interests at heart.

She added: "I know he will be feeling depressed about the way things have gone in London, so maybe it would be a good idea if he were to go back there later and perform free for the fans who feel let down by him.''

Justin Bieber reflects on UK visit: "I've seen some crazy stuff"

Justin Bieber has admitted he has encountered some "crazy stuff" whilst in the UK - but he says it is now "all smiles".

The Canadian singer has endured something of an ordeal in recent weeks as he brought his Believe world tour to Britain.

He was denied entry by a Manchester club before tweeting a few days later that he had just gone through his "worst birthday" ever.

The singer then faced criticism for turning up late for a gig at London's O2 Arena before falling ill on stage at another concert.

Yesterday (March 8) the 'Boyfriend' star was taped lashing out at a cameraman, but he successfully performed at the O2 Arena afterwards.

Taking to Twitter, Bieber admitted that he was still affected by his recent health trouble but he added he has actually enjoyed his time in London. He said:

"Still a little short of breathe tonight but was an incredible show. London fans go hard! 4 SOLD OUT O2 shows in a row!! #BLESSED. Too many blessings to allow the stress in. the press made things look nuts but really I have enjoyed London. The fans are incredible."

Bieber continued: "So while I have seen some crazy stuff it is all smiles. Im gonna get some rest and keep doing what i love. Entertain all of u. Thanks."

Justin Bieber is due to perform tonight (March 8) at London's O2 Arena despite a health scare on stage only a day previously.

As reported by Pressparty, the Canadian was rushed off stage last night (March 7) and given oxygen after complaining of breathing difficulties at the O2.

He was later taken to hospital and tweeted that he was "getting better" as time went by.

A rep has now confirmed to the Mirror that Bieber will indeed perform tonight at the same venue as scheduled after being discharged from hospital.

They said: "Justin has been released from the hospital after a check-up. And while he's feeling a little under the weather, he's planning on going ahead with tonight's show."

This latest incident comes only days after the singer was late arriving on stage at the same venue - prompting some fans and parents to leave the arena.

Justin Bieber "getting better" after on-stage health scare

Justin Bieber has issued an update after reportedly collapsing backstage midway through a gig last night (March 7).

The Canadian singer was performing a show at London's O2 Arena when the incident happened, with manager Scooter Braun telling fans that he was having breathing problems after the star was rushed backstage to take some time out.

Whilst he later returned to the stage, the singer is said to have visited hospital after the end of the concert.

Taking to Twitter to update his worried fans, Bieber said that he is "getting better", but admitted that doctors are looking into what happened. He said:

"Getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love."

The 'Boyfriend' star later uploaded to Instagram a photo of himself on a hospital bed along with the caption: "Gettin better listening to Janice Joplin."

It's the latest problem to surround his series of shows at the O2 Arena, with the superstar previously hitting the headlines after coming out on stage late - much to his fans' disappointment.

Justin Bieber deserves a slap, says Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones

Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has said that Justin Bieber "deserve[s] a slap" for being two hours late to his O2 show in London on Monday night (March 4).

The Canadian popstar angered many after not arriving on stage until 10.35pm for the show, although he was scheduled to start at 8.30pm. Many fans had to leave early in order to catch public transport, and parents have since voiced their displeasure at Bieber's behaviour.

In a live webchat with The Sun, Jones said of Bieber: "If you can’t turn up and get on stage on time then you deserve a slap.

"There’s no excuse for that. He’s probably got about 80 people around him, and if none of them have got a watch with all the money he’s got then something’s wrong, isn’t it?"

He added: "Rebelling and the pressures of fame are different from not showing up on time.

"You can rebel in the hotel room, in many ways. You can rebel in the red light district if you want to, Justin - you don’t have to do it in the O2.

"He’s just a kid but I don’t care how old he is – he should still be able to tell the time."

Justin Bieber slams new rumours: 'I'm only judged by one power, and I serve him'

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has hit out at 'fake stories' and stupid 'rumours' in a series of Twitter posts shared earlier this afternoon (March 6).

It has been a bad press week for the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker after he took the stage more than two hours late at his recent concert in London, but he told his 35 million followers today that he isn't taking any notice of the negativity because the only judgement he cares about is God's:

"Rumors rumors and more rumors. nothing more nothing less. might talk about them 1 day. rt now im just gonna be positive. cant bring me down. im focused on the good things in life. im blessed and not forgetting it. im giving back every day for it. cant phase me."

Bieber continued: "fake stories to sell papers i guess are part of the job. but im a good person. i know that. u cant tell me different. we know the truth. as long as my family, friends, and fans r with me u can say whatever. we are all equal in God's eyes & we have a responsibility to each other."

He then referred directly to reports that surfaced earlier this week about his birthday, adding: "so make up stories about fake fines and make no mention of the positive, or say when i came out of my show with my shirt off because after performing for 2 hours i might be sweaty i was going into a club (really?) or any girl i stand next to is my girl or that i dont care, or that i dont feel, or that a 19 year old going to a club in europe is wild."

Despite being clearly affected by the speculation and negativity, Bieber confessed that he understands it is just "part of the job to be judged": "...but judge me on the facts, judge me on the music, and be careful of the judgement u pass. but know this...im only judged by one power, and i serve him."

Justin Bieber won't be fined for late London show

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber will not face a hefty fine from Greenwich Council over his late-running show at London's O2 Arena on Monday (March 4).

Recent reports stated that 'Baby' singer Bieber was likely to be billed £300,000 by the borough after a delayed appearance at the venue in the UK capital earlier this week.

The reports stated that all shows at the O2 Arena must end by 11pm, and Bieber would be fined £10,000 for each minute he appeared on stage after that curfew.

However, the council confirmed in a statement today that this will not be the case: “The Royal Borough of Greenwich has not taken any action against the owners of The O2 in relation to Justin Bieber’s recent performance, as no breach of our licensing conditions took place. It is simply a contractual issue between AEG and the artist involved, as there is no requirement for performances to finish by 11pm.

The statement added: "The O2 is the world’s most popular entertainment venue and sells over two million tickets each and every year as it plays host to many of the world’s biggest names. We take any complaints made in relation to the venue very seriously, but it is an urban myth to suggest that we have ever levied a fine in relation to a performance there.”

After disappointing fans with his "disgusting" behaviour on Monday, Bieber turned up two minutes early for the second night of his London tour schedule yesterday (March 5).

The O2 expressed their relief at the star's punctuality, writing on their official Twitter page: "We are happy to report that Justin Bieber made it on stage two minutes early this evening. Phew…(sic)."

Justin Bieber has apologised to fans for his late arrival on stage at London's O2 Arena last night (March 4).

The Canadian superstar was slammed for his "disgusting" behaviour after reportedly turning up two hours late for the opening night of his 'Believe' tour in the UK capital.

His delayed arrival saw hundreds of his fans walk-out of the venue and Twitter was ablaze with angry parents after the show.

However, Bieber has defended his late appearance, while apologising for letting his fans down.

Taking to Twitter he wrote: "since i have been here it hasnt been easy with the press at times but I have loved it. so let me say this... last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so... i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that (sic)."

He added: "and tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance. my relationship with the media is not always easy but im trying. Im all about the music and the performance and i respect my fans. i never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset."

Bieber also revealed on the social networking site that he is now focused on putting on a great second night in the UK capital for his fans.

He continued: "now we have a show to do today and Im gonna focus on the positive and put on a great show tonight here in London. NIGHT 2 at the 02 is gonna be even better. get ready. thanks (sic)."

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has been slammed for his "disgusting" behaviour after turning up two hours late for his opening night at London's O2 Arena.

The 'Baby' singer's terribly late arrival saw hundreds of his fans walk-out of the venue despite waiting hours for his turn on the stage.

Bieber, 19, appeared in front of the audience at 10.35pm - just 25 minutes before his sell-out concert was due to finish.

The star has many young fans who were forced to leave early and Twitter was ablaze with angry parents after the show.

One user angrily posted: "@justinbieber: Good day” well it was until you were 2 hours late and we ended up missing you as we had to get the train #wasteoftime &money.

Mother Emma Harman, from Kent, told Sky News she was "disgusted" after her husband had been left waiting with their nine-year-old daughter.

She said: "I am hoping he will be ashamed of his behaviour, but I very much doubt it. My husband has left now having seen three songs."

Joanne Dorken of MTV News tweeted: "Literally kids in tears on the tube after parents made them leave to get last trains! Heartbreaking stuff :( (sic)."

The 02 apologised for Beiber's late arrival, but did not give a reason for the star's delay.

Posting on Twitter, the message read: "Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologises for the lateness of his show. Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes (sic)."

The 'Baby' hitmaker took to Twitter over the weekend to let his fans know he'd had the "worst birthday".

The marketing and PR director at London hotspot Cirque Du Soir explained that Bieber's birthday night came to an abrupt end because of a couple of underage members of his party - Jaden Smith, 14 and Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke, 17.

However, Bieber has rubbished such claims, explaining the club's staff were rude.

Writing on his Instagram account, the star revealed: "The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club... You think Will [Smith] is letting his 14 year old [son Jaden] in a club, I don't think so.

He added: "I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak a** club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out.

"I said 'worst bday' [on Twitter] but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive... it wasn't the worst bday cuz all my friends from back home flew in... I was just mad in the moment."

Bieber then took to Twitter to explain speaking out on the incident: "Sometimes you just wanna vent and not be quiet. I love my fans though. Just gonna chill with friends. London shows this week. It ain't always easy but is what it is. Gonna stay focused (sic)."

Olivia Wilde blasts Justin Bieber: "Put your shirt on"

Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde has blasted Justin Bieber for his bare-chested look, telling him to "put [his] f**king shirt on".

The Canadian superstar is in the UK at the moment as he takes his Believe world tour around Britain. Bieber was pictured returning to his London hotel in the early hours of the morning on Thursday topless, with his trousers sagging very low.

Wilde took to Twitter to slam the singer for his newfound sexy look.

Posting on the social networking site, she wrote: "Bieber, put your f**king shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt.) (sic)."

However, Bieber's fans were quick to jump to the hunk's defence, with one writing: "r u a lesbian or r u too old (sic)", which Wilde later retweeted.

It's not the first time Bieber has been embroiled in a Twitter feud.

The Canadian star and his manager Scooter Braun expressed their disappointment last year after the 'Believe' star missed out on nominations for the 2013 Grammys, which took place last month.

The Black Keys won a total of four gongs on the night and they managed to find time to slate Bieber, with drummer Patrick Carney joking: "He's rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money...and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."

Bieber took to Twitter a couple of days later to write: "The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha (sic)."

19-year-old Justin was spotted in a pair of leopard print trousers as he returned to his London hotel in the early hours of Sunday following his Saturday night concert at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham.

Justin Bieber's birthday debacle revealed

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber's scuppered birthday plans have been revealed.

The 'Baby' singer took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to let his fans know he'd had the "worst birthday".

Insiders had previously claimed that Bieber's birthday debacle was down to a "confrontation" between the star's team and London club Cirque Du Soir security.

However, the marketing and PR director at the hotspot has revealed to Entertainmentwise that Bieber's birthday night came to an abrupt end because of a couple of underage members of his party - Jaden Smith, 14 and Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke, 17.

Marketing manager Tom explained: "We, like all clubs in London, operate a strict age policy. As a few of the members of the party were under the suitable age of 18, the security team at Cirque Du Soir, London, clearly explained this rule and refused entry to the club for anyone who could not provide us with adequate proof of age.

He added: "Justin Bieber visits Cirque Du Soir regularly, and he and his friends are always welcome, as long the members of the group are legally old enough to enter the club. This was simply a matter of regulation that we must adhere to."

The star is in the UK at the moment as he takes his Believe world tour around Britain.

Pattie Mallette, the mother of 19-year-old Justin Bieber, has admitted that she's not too keen on the tattoos he's collected over the past few years.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about the work he has on his body, Mallette explained that there's nothing she can do about it and she doesn't have to be supportive of every decision he makes:

"That's one of those things that I don't necessarily have to like. He's going to make his own decisions."

Bieber unveiled a brand new piece of ink earlier this week in the form of the Greek letter 'Chi'. He is also celebrating his 19th birthday today (March 1) and tweeted a message to his fans that teased he has a "big night ahead", before adding: "Gonna be fun tonight. Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes. 19!"
