Justin Timberlake gives Chvrches 'Cry Me a River' cover seal of approval

Justin Timberlake has given his seal of approval to Chvrches' new 'Cry Me a River' cover.

The Scottish trio put their own spin on the singer's 2002 track for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge this week.

It seems the electronic touch added to the song piqued Timberlake's interest, who retweeted a link to the cover.

Chvrches meanwhile are nominated for the British Breakthrough Act prize at this year's Brit Awards.

They will go head-to-head against FKA Twigs, Royal Blood, George Ezra and Sam Smith in the category.

This year's Brits are taking place at London's O2 Arena on February 25.
