Earlier today, superstar Justin Timberlake teased fans by hinting at the potential release of new music.

Now, a video has surfaced on YouTube entitled 'I'm Ready' that shows the actor and musician walking through a recording studio while a pre-recorded vocal segment plays over the footage.

Timberlake can be heard saying: "I don't want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don't love."

"You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. I'm ready."

A countdown is currently displayed on his website and refers to an event that will happen in 3 days, and a tweet sent from his official page this morning reads, "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST...", which indicates the release of the aforementioned video clip.

He has since returned to the social networking site and posted this: "To whom it may concern...I think I'M READY!"
