Justin Timberlake on dream movie role: 'I want to play proper crazy'

'Suit & Tie' hitmaker Justin Timberlake has revealed that he would absolutely love to play a villain as his next movie role.

While the superstar admitted he doesn't have any film plans in his near future, he told Fresh 102.7 FM that there's one evil character he loved as a child and would jump at the chance to portray him now as an adult:

"Not a chance in hell. I ain’t playing Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. Now, a villain! I’ll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funnily enough, The Riddler is my favourite villain."

"The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I’m gonna play crazy, I wanna play proper crazy."

Timberlake, meanwhile, took the stage with his 'N Sync bandmates over the weekend to perform at the MTV VMAs and told the press that he thinks his old boyband is better than current favourites One Direction: "I have not seen them on stage, but I'd be willing to say that we're better than them. But I don't feel like I’m laying down any gauntlet. I've seen them a couple times and I like those guys. It's interesting to see this whole wave of that come back around."
