Justin Timberlake has confirmed plans to tour the UK next year.

The US star will play a total of five dates in England and Scotland as he takes his 20/20 Experience world tour to Britain.

The jaunt, which was announced after Timberlake's iTunes Festival show in London last night (September 29), will kick off in Sheffield on March 30.

The singer - who released his new album 'The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2' today (September 30) in the UK - will then visit London, Glasgow and Manchester before concluding at Birmingham's LG Arena on April 11.

Tickets will go on sale from Friday (October 4) at 9am UK time. His full schedule is as follows:

• March 30 – Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield
• April 1 – O2 Arena, London
• April 4 – The SSE Hyrdo, Glasgow
• April 7 – Phones 4U Arena, Manchester
• April 11 – LG Arena, Birmingham
