Kanye West and his fiancée Kim Kardashian have graced the cover of US Vogue.

The ‘Yeezus’ rapper and his bride-to-be were photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the April edition of the US fashion publication with Kardashian dressed in a Lanvin wedding gown.

US Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, addressed rumours surrounding the couple’s cover shoot in her editor’s letter.

Wintour wrote: “You may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.”

She went on: “Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that.”

Both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to express their excitement over their latest photo session.

The ‘Black Skinhead’ musician tweeted, “#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine”, whilst the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star gushed, “This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath [sic]!”
