Kanye West: 'Kim Kardashian inspires Beyoncé's music'

Hitmaker Kanye West has opened up about his wife Kim Kardashian's friendship with global superstar Beyoncé and hinted that she inspires the 'Halo' sensation creatively.

During a new interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club, the rapper confessed that Beyoncé taped a photograph of Kardashian to the wall in her studio as a point of inspiration:

“They love each other. They respect each other. When Beyoncé was working on her album she had pictures of Kim on the wall because Kim represents powerful women. They definitely respect each other, but maybe there’s a LeBron James, Kobe [Bryant] element to it."

West, meanwhile, recently told Style.com that people started turning their backs on him when he began dating Kim Kardashian because of her reality television presence:

"[As] soon as we started dating, fashion people were really opposed to the idea of reality stars. And all the relationships, the somewhat friends that I had somewhat built up, completely turned their backs on her and me. They already had their back to her, and now they turned it to me."
