Kanye West Brits show won't be investigated further

An expletive-laden performance from Kanye West at this year's Brit Awards will not be investigated further by Ofcom.

The rapper ran through the song 'All Day' at the ceremony in London on February.

However, his use of the 'N' word ensured that the performance was regularly muted.

Regulator Ofcom received 151 complaints for the language, but they have confirmed that no further action will be taken.

They state that broadcaster ITV had taken steps to censor the language.

Ofcom added: "We received a number of complaints that Kanye West’s language, shortly after the watershed, was offensive but we will not be taking the matter forward for investigation.

"Having carefully assessed these complaints, we noted that before the programme ITV took steps to ensure that offensive language was not used, and during the programme to mute the majority of it."
