Kanye West's Glastonbury performance receives over 40 complaints

Rapper Kanye West headlined Glastonbury Festival on Saturday night and his performance attracted a host of complaints from disgruntled viewers.

Following his set, which was much talked about on social media in both good and bad capacities, 44 viewers complained to British regulatory body The Office of Communications (Ofcom) about offensive language used, but BBC chiefs have insisted that as the show aired after the watershed of 9pm there shouldn't be a problem.

A spokesperson for Ofcom told WENN: "(We had) 44 complaints about offensive language in Kanye West's performance. We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not."

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert, who has been touring as the frontman of Queen for the last few years, took to his official Twitter page last night (June 29) and joked about West's ropey rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody': "OYE VEY Kanye. That Bohemian Rhapsody at Glastonbury though.... Ouch."
