Kanye West changes new album title from 'Swish' to 'Waves'

Kanye West revealed last night (Wednesday 26) that his upcoming album will now be called 'Waves'. The change happened in the space of a couple of days, as on January 24 he tweeted the album would be called 'Swish'.

West also announced that this will 'not be album of the year. This is album of the life.'

He then teased his Twitter followers with a hand-written track-listing which had been drawn over by Kylie Jenner and his wife, Kim Kardashian.

This is the same scrap of paper he unveiled on January 24 (see below) but with more scribbles, additional song titles, all proving that the album is a work in progress still (see below).

Meanwhile, Billboard reports that West will unveil the album at New York's Madison Square Garden for his Yeezy Season 3 presentation at New York Fashion Week. Tickets will go on sale to the public for the event today (January 27), and the show will be broadcast in cinemas worldwide.

The Chicago rapper will be unveiling a new track every week in the run up to the album's release on February 11.
