IKEA, the Swedish furniture and homewares store have confirmed that the rapper and designer Kanye West is set to visit their offices in southern Sweden.

The company confirmed an online report on March 8 by the Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, that the US star was in Almhult, a town in southern Sweden where Ikea was founded in the 1940s and where it retains many key operations.

Jakob Holmstrom, an Ikea spokesperson said that West was visiting several Ikea facilities, including its design division.

He would not comment on whether Kim Kardashian's husband and Ikea were planning a joint project. He simply said: “Time will tell.”
