Man sues Kanye West and Tidal for "deceiving fans"Hitmaker Kanye West and music streaming service Tidal have been sued for "deceiving fans", it has been revealed. The lawsuit arose after West’s latest album, ‘The Life of Pablo’, claimed to be a Tidal exclusive, which caused fans to sign up to the paid subscription service. The story was initially reported by the AP and it explained that a fan named Justin Baker-Rhett had filed the lawsuit because the album wasn’t exclusive to Tidal at all. He claims that millions signed up for Tidal because West promised it would be the exclusive place to hear his new album. "Mr. Baker-Rhett believes that superstars are required to follow the same rules as everyone else. Even if their streaming service is struggling, they can't trick millions of people into paying money (and giving up personal information) just to boost valuation numbers."
