Kanye West responds to tour insurer's countersuit over canceled Saint Pablo tour

Kanye West's legal team have responded to his tour insurance company's countersuit regarding the cancellation of the remaining dates of the rapper's Saint Pablo tour.

Kanye West was hospitalised after appearing onstage in Sacramento on November 20 in 2016, where he only performed three songs due to 'temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration'.

The tour insurers, Lloyd's of London, refused to pay his cancellation claim of £7,3660,000 ($10 million) as their policy does not cover "pre-existing psychological conditions, possession of illegal drugs, prescription drugs not taken as medically prescribed, and the consumption of alcohol rendering the insured unfit to perform".

West's legal team have since retaliated stating that this counterclaim 'should be withdrawn or stricken'.
