Kanye West slammed for "distasteful" lyrics

Kanye West has been slammed for using a "distasteful" reference to Parkinson's disease in new track 'On Sight'.

The international rap star released his hotly-anticipated album 'Yeezus' this week to largely positive acclaim.

However, his lyrics have offended the American Parkinson Disease Association, who claim West used an "ignorant" reference to the degenerative disease in song 'On Sight'.

In the track the star raps: “A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this b***h shaking like Parkinson's.”

The organisation's Vice President Kathryn Whitford told US website TMZ: “We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.”

West's latest musical offering stormed to the top of the iTunes chart yesterday, just a few hours after its release in America.

However, it now appears to have dropped from the top 10.

Meanwhile, West has been keeping a low profile since girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to their baby daughter over the weekend.
