Kanye West: 'I'm putting my life at risk on tour'

Rap superstar Kanye West has revealed that every night when he performs live, he is putting his life at risk.

Speaking to SaturdayNightOnline radio, he explained that his stage set up is potentially very dangerous on his current 'Yeezus' tour so he always has to be aware of his footing as it could result in serious injury if he slips:

"Like, I'm just giving of my body on the stage; I'm putting my life at risk, literally! When I think about when I'm on the 'Can't Tell Me Nothing,' and 'Coldest Winter' moment, like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped..."

"You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I'm like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something."

West added that it's tough to put himself at risk when he thinks about his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, and their five-month-old daughter, North, but he wants to be able to provide for them so will continue to do so until the tour is over: "Like you literally [sic] going out to do your job every day, knowing that something could happen. Something can happen to you. I'll explain to my daughter one day, that me and her mother, we had to fight for this position that we'll finally have."
