Kanye West and Kim Kardashian being counter-sued over engagement video leak

Kanye West and his fiancée Kim Kardashian are being counter-sued over footage of the US rapper’s extravagant proposal ceremony for the reality TV star.

The couple first launched a lawsuit against Chad Hurley – a co-founder of YouTube – after he posted a video of West’s marriage proposal on MixBit.

The original lawsuit for unspecified damages argued that Hurley had not been invited to the ceremony held on October 31 at the AT&T Park in San Francisco, and that he managed to gain access to the event by manipulating his way in and was only allowed to stay after signing a confidentiality agreement.

Chad Hurley has now hit back with a counter suit which claims no one told him he was prohibited from sharing footage of the event proceedings, that he did not read the document he signed which he believes was invalid, and that he was misled about the information contained in the confidentiality agreement.

Hurley is requesting for the case to be thrown out of court and for the famous US couple to pay his legal fees.
