Kasabian prefer 'mellow' backstage action

Kasabian have admitted that their backstage dressing rooms aren't very rock and roll.

The British group are quoted by Contactmusic as saying that they prefer to chill out before hitting the stage.

Singer Tom Meighan said: "I think it's more chaos on stage so in some ways you have to be more mellow before you get on, the calmer you are before, when you get on, it goes crazy."

Speaking meanwhile about the band's admiration for fellow Brit Tinie Tempah, Meighan added:

"We've met him a few times, he's a top guy, he's rocking it."

Kasabian released their latest album '48:13' earlier this year and it reached No.1 in the UK.
