Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has revealed a love of sharks.

The group are off to Australia to play a string of dates on the Big Day Out tour, and talking to The Sun, Meighan has spoken of his desire to see the animals up close and personal.

Not in a cage though - he would pick the the slightly less rock and roll method of sitting safely in a boat. He said:

"I want to see sharks! I dunno about a cage...I just want to get in a boat and do the chum bait thing and see two or three come round. I love sharks. They're a great prehistoric creature that's roamed the earth and they're still here being killing machines."

Funnily enough however, Meighan told NME late last year that if he could chose the way in which he would die, it wouldn't be being mauled to death by sharks. Instead, he picked the slightly more spectacular falling out of a rollercoaster whilst at full speed.
