Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno: 'When I'm not in the studio, I'm gardening in my allotment'

Rocker Serge Pizzorno has revealed that outside of performing and recording with his band Kasabian, he enjoys getting muddy in his allotment where he grows vegetables.

Speaking to Absolute Radio at the Hard Rock Calling event over the weekend, the guitarist explained that gardening is relaxing and he has learned to really like it:

"I like getting home for about two weeks and then (I) go back in the studio and start working."

"I'm always in the studio at home and also looking after the allotment, you know, watching out for the runner beans and tomatoes."

Kasabian, meanwhile, made history last night (June 30) as the first band to headline the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park venue in London.
