Katy Perry: "My tickets are reasonably priced compared to my peers"

Katy Perry believes that her tours are often better priced than gigs of other big pop acts.

The superstar singer is due to bring her Prismatic tour to the UK in May and the US icon reckons that it'll be a relatively cheap night out.

She told Capital FM: "All of my tickets are very reasonably priced, really reasonably priced, especially compared to my peers. I kind of did all the research for that, I just want anybody to be able to come to my show…I want to have a sold-out tour!"

In terms of her UK dates, a standing ticket for one of Perry's O2 Arena shows in London in May costs £57.50 without a booking fee.

The equivalent ticket for Miley Cyrus's Bangerz tour gig in the same venue only a few weeks before costs £55.

Seating tickets meanwhile for Taylor Swift's upcoming run at the O2 Arena went on sale from £47.50.  A seated ticket for Perry's show at the venue is available from £49.50
