Katy Perry has unleashed the video for her new single.

The US singer recently released the tune 'Dark Horse' from her chart-topping 2013 album 'Prism'.

The song, which features Juicy J, hit No.1 in America and its video has now been released.

It sees Perry rock a an Egyptian theme as she plays the character of Katy Patra.

The singer meanwhile performed the song at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday (February 19).

It came a day after Perry picked up the Woman of the Year prize at the Elle Style Awards in London.
