Katy Perry has opened up on what it was like to kiss Miley Cyrus.

The 'Roar' star recently attended one of the singer's Bangerz tour dates in the US, but she got more than she bargained for.

Cyrus was seen lunging towards Perry in the front row of the audience before smooching her with unreserved aplomb.

Speaking to Australia's Sunrise TV show, the 'Prism' lady affirmed that it was indeed Cyrus that decided to go "deeper", saying:

"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away."

Perry joked: "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"

The singer hasn't been the only female Cyrus has locked lips with on tour recently. She was filmed plunging herself into a fan at a concert at the weekend.
