Pop beauty Katy Perry has finally unveiled the official lyric video for her brand new upcoming single, which is called 'Birthday'. 

The track will be her next single from new album, 'Prism', and the single's artwork is an adorable photograph from Perry's childhood. She debuted the lyric video earlier this afternoon (April 10) and accompanied it with an appropriate caption. 

The 'Dark Horse' superstar tweeted: "I know you like it sweet... Filmed by the amazingly talented @AwkwardAya at the sweetest place of all, @duffscakemix! #KPBIRTHDAY."

Earlier this month, Perry told reporters from E! that she feels great about the fact that she's challenging herself musically and in her personal life once again: 

"I’m challenging myself again, pushing my limits as I do, as a Scorpion does. I’m very excited because I believe this is my best work yet as far as live performances. It’s going to be just as colourful and fun as before, but it’s obviously not based on candy. It’s grown up. It’s more mature.”
