'Dark Horse' beauty Katy Perry is due to launch her 'Prism' jewellery and accessories range in Claire's stores across the UK next week. 

She has released an official statement about the collection, which explains that she has selected some favourite pieces (shown left) and she can't wait for fans to get their hands on the accessories:

“Here’s a special preview of my brand new PRISM collection for Claire’s! These have been personally curated by me, for you. They are my favourite pieces from the upcoming ‘Roar’ line. They are just the beginning of what’s to come from my PRISM collaboration. I can’t wait to see everyone show-ready ROARING these pieces at my Prismatic World Tour!”

The collaboration between Claire's and Katy Perry is confirmed to remain active until 2016.

Perry's Prismatic tour is due to kick off on May 7 in Belfast before moving onto London, Manchester, Liverpool, and then it will head back over to north America for an extensive run that will take her into October. She recently confessed that preparing for the series of shows has been tiring, but she is excited to begin the jaunt:

"I’m just kind of getting into the mindset. We’ve been working on this tour, we’ve been in production for about three months, but we’ve been planning it for about a year…There’s so many different moving parts. I’m not just someone that walks in with a latte and goes, ‘Okay!’ I’m always a part of every moving part and it can get a little overwhelming, but I think the end result is going to be very exciting for everyone to see."
