Make-A-Wish creates Katy Perry music video for 5-year-old cancer patient

The Make-A-Wish foundation have given a 5-year-old cancer sufferer the chance to film a music video inspired by Katy Perry.

Addy is a young a girl who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer aged four and she asked the charity to realise her dream of appearing in a music video.

The 5-year-old is a big fan of Katy Perry and in particular her song 'Roar', which she says helps her through her medical treatments.

Make-A-Wish have now uploaded the special clip, which sees Addy sing along to the Perry song and live the life of a pop star as she appears on TV and meets fans.

She even dons a purple wig as she performs to her adoring crowd.

The video's blurb adds that Addy "fought and beat" her illness, with the clip celebrating her victory.
