Katy Perry has debuted the video for her new single.

The singer is releasing 'This Is How We Do' as the latest track from her 2013 album 'Prism'.

Its video sees the US star channel pop art with fast-moving colourful images and varied backdrops.

Perry said on Twitter: "Big ups to director Joel Kefali @joelkefali for helping us create so many lewks in so little time for #thisishowweslay."

The singer meanwhile recently revealed that she was often teased at school.

The 'Dark Horse' lady said: "I'm the class clown's assistant. That's what I was in high school. I mean, they called me 'over-the-shoulder boulder holder', and I wasn't that cute. I looked like a square ­– a rectangle, actually – because I was going through my teenage awkward phase."
