Nico & Vinz land midweek No.1 single with 'Am I Wrong'

Norwegian singing/songwriting duo Nico & Vinz have shot straight in at No.1 this afternoon (August 6) in today's midweek chart update with their new offering, 'Am I Wrong'.

The song, which has already seen great success in America, recently became the first track in history to reach the Official Singles Chart Top 75 based on streams alone and has now reached the top spot on the UK Top 40 Singles Chart.

OneRepublic have a new entry at No.3 this afternoon with 'Love Runs Out', George Ezra’s 'Budapest' is up 1 position to sit at No.5, and will.i.am and Cody Wise complete the Top 10 with their former chart-topping hit, 'It’s My Birthday'.

Elsewhere on the UK Top 40, Jessie Ware has a new entry at No.22 with 'Tough Love' and Maroon 5 have climbed an impressive 26 places to No.25 with 'It Was Always You'. Final positions will be confirmed this coming Sunday, August 10.
